Many of us record in bedroom studios, surrounded by familiar cables, microphones, and instruments. We run sound at churches to ensure every voice and note is heard. On weeknights and weekends, we dive into the local club scene, where neighborhood bars and larger venues host bands, jams, and late-night improv. Music here isn’t a hobby; it’s our daily rhythm.

New Orleans is close enough that the line between local and legendary often blurs. We load vans, drive to the Crescent City for gigs, play late, then return to Baton Rouge in the early morning. After a few hours of sleep, we head to work, still buzzing from the show, ready to design and refine audio products we’re excited to use on stage and in the studio. That cycle—play, create, test, repeat—is at the core of what we do.

Each morning, we walk into a modest office building that feels like an audio wonderland, with a world-class recording studio and live-sound room designed by the Walters-Storyk Design Group. These rooms are our laboratories, where we fine-tune sound, push gear to its limits, and ensure every detail meets working musicians’ and engineers’ standards. We design, test, and refine products not as detached engineers, but as active performers and producers. We track songs, mix records, rehearse live sets, and treat every session as both creative outlet and real-world product test. Music is our business, daily practice, and shared language.

We also honor our culinary traditions. The company kitchen is a gathering place outfitted for serious Cajun and Creole cooking, with cast-iron pots, stock pans, and shelves of spices ready for gumbo, jambalaya, and étouffée. At the center sits a big bottle of hot sauce, a staple on our table just as reverb and delay are staples in our mixes. We celebrate the connection between food, culture, and creativity. Our love for local flavors runs so deep we include Cajun recipes in many product manuals, sharing a taste of home alongside technical details. For us, sound, song, and spice come from the same source: a passion for creating bold, memorable, unmistakably our own experiences.
